I wish I was one of those courageous rebels that threw their college degree at their Asian parents and declared "I’m going into comedy!" or "tattoo artistry!". But no, it took a lot of twists and turns to get from designing form as an architect to inner-editing the formless as a conscious coach. The most pivotal turn was motherhood, where all my relationships shifted into unrecognizable chaos. I absorbed immense amounts of literature, courses, and podcasts from child psychologists, neuroscientists, therapists, and trauma experts to help contain the chaos. But it was only through deep inner work at the Conscious Coaching Institute, that I realized that all the knowledge, though important and helpful, was not wisdom. And the wisdom integrated that was the most transformative was actually always there inside me. I just needed to be meticulously guided into it.
